Builds upon the foundations of IGCSE and provides an essential range of knowledge and skills to enable students to progress to degree level studies in many disciplines, in addition to Mathematics and the Pure and Applied Sciences. For students not wishing to engage in degree level studies provides a widely applicable base into many careers.

Two pathways permit students to focus either on the applications of mathematical reasoning , or the underlying framework of the subject.
