Students are able to complete the assessment criteria for the Research Problem by producing a piece of work which critically addresses a research problem of their choice.Word counts generally set for such research problems are 4000 words , wherein exceeding the word count will result in the loss of marks , since the challenge of the research question is to be both clear and concise whilst addressing the research question. General thinking and research skills are developed together with more specific analytical and critical skills.

Wide opportunities both in terms of progression at university level and general careers openings are possible after completion.
